Grace Chiodo

NDIS Support Coordinator

Grace has a Bachelor of Science in Intellectual Disability Studies. She has worked in the disability and mental health fields for over 29 years. Her special interests include rapport building, assessment, collaboration, social justice and advocacy. Grace is bilingual and is fluent in Italian and it's southern dialects. She liaises regularly with the participant, their care team and family to ensure best possible outcomes.

Grace has worked as a NDIS Support Coordinator for over 2.5 years to current as well as varying roles in the mental health and disability sectors. Grace has worked in the ABI Unit where she conducted Target Group Assessments and worked collaboratively with Occupational Therapists. Grace has valued collaborating with Occupational Therapists so much so that she is currently enrolled to study her Master's in occupational therapy.

Grace reports the most rewarding part of her role is when "my involvement with the participant reduces or is made redundant as it confirms that the participants level of independence has increased".

 

Robert Thompson

Assistive Technology Creator and Advisor

Robert is an esteemed Electrical Engineer coupled with a Computer Science degree. He has an astute interest in technological devices. Robert has written research articles on subjects including artificial intelligence, robotics and technological devices.

To date Robert has developed cutting edge devises and successfully manages his own Electrical company servicing residential, commercial, retail, industrial and SDA's.

Robert has had extensive experience in assessing and providing disability appropriate electrical devices for the home such as sensor lighting, sensor blinds and more recently developing communication devices.
